Augusta, GA – Mr. Clarence Tillman Young, beloved husband of 65 years of Mamie Smith Young, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 16, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Pierce Memorial United Methodist Church with Dr. Robert Blankenship officiating. Burial to follow in the Pierce Memorial UMC cemetery.
Following the graveside services, the family will be receiving friends in the Pierce Memorial fellowship hall.
Mr. Young was a member of Pierce Memorial United Methodist Church. He was retired from Eli Witt Hav-A-Tampa Cigar Corporation where he worked for 42 years. Mr. Young served 5 ½ years in the U.S. Army Air Force in World War II.
Mr. Young is survived by his two sons, Clarence W. Young and wife Kelly of Bluffton, SC, and James T. “Jimmy” Young of San Diego, CA; his four grandchildren, Trevor Young and wife Leslie of Carey, NC, Amber Young of Wilmington, NC, Stephen Young of Pasadena, CA, and Angela Blake and husband Scott of Chino, CA; and his great-granddaughter, Liana.
Pallbearers will be Freddie Sanders, Rusty Sanders, Bill McGahee, Trevor Young, Stephen Young, Scott Blake, and J.V. Summers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, July 17, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
