Nichols, Juli; Boston EMS Paramedic 143, after a long battle with breast cancer, of Waltham July 12, 2013 at sunrise, with family by her side. She leaves her brother Bobby Nichols and his wife Deb of Maryland ; Brenda Berry and her husband Dick of Beverly and Stephen Nichols and his wife Patty of Pennsylvania. She also leaves her cousins Ed Karpinski of Maine and Anne Karpinski of Florida. She left an unforgettable impression on nieces and nephews: Josh, Kevin, Brian, Danielle and Sean Nichols, Megan Creel and David and Nicole Berry. She also leaves her cat Tic and her sister's dog Joey and many extended family members including her Boston EMS Family.
Juli was a member of the Northshore Pipe Band, Survivors by the Sea of Winthrop, Mass Audubon Society and the Pine Meadows Golf League. Her other interests included skiing, snow shoeing, target shooting, sailing, scuba diving, surfing, bicycling, hiking, kayaking, hockey, rock climbing, and travelling. Truly she led a full life. A celebration of Juli's life will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 11:00 am at Lucy Stone Chapel of Forest Hills Cemetery and the celebration will continue immediately following at the West Roxbury Elks. Juli wanted us to celebrate her life with no tears and bright colors. Her wish is that no flowers be sent, instead contributions can be made to the Avon Foundation for Breast Cancer or the MSPCA.
