Miriam S. (Hodges) Kimbar, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Saint Vincent Hospital. She is survived by 4 children, Joyce DiPasquale of Auburn, Judith Cook of Shrewsbury, Joseph Kimbar of CT, and Patricia Kimbar of Auburn; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Daniel Kimbar; 4 siblings; and a granddaughter, Michelle.
Miriam was born in Worcester, a daughter of William and Bertha E. (Allen) Hodges. She worked as a seamstress for several years. She was a passionate line dancer and choreographed many dances.
Memorial calling hours will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 5-6:30 p.m. in the Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A memorial funeral service will immediately follow at 6:30 in the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date.
