Michael J. Guidry
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, July 11, 2013, Mr. Michael John Guidry, 52, loving husband of Cindy K. Guidry.
Mr. Guidry was a native of Willingboro, NJ and was a graduate of Willingboro High School but has lived in the Augusta area for the last 28 years. He was a Senior I&C Technician for Southern Nuclear at Plant Vogtle. He was a member of New Heart Bible Fellowship Church and loved the Lord dearly. Mr. Guidry was a loving and devoted husband and father. He always said “Hey, have I told you I love you?”
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Austin Michael Guidry, John Maclane Guidry; mother: Kathryn Guidry; sisters and brothers: Jolynn O. Black and husband Fred, W. Paul Guidry and wife Fran, Lynda Smith and husband Michael, Duane Guidry and wife Mary Jo, Aimee Anderson and husband Shannon, Denise O’Connor and husband Marty; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie P. Guidry, Sr.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the New Heart Bible Fellowship Church with Pastor Jeff Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
