Kenneth Charles Kilpatrick, 62, of Kathleen, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in the Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Baker officiating. Military honors will be rendered.
Mr. Kilpatrick was born July 20, 1950, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late John Lewis & Martha Ellen McDuffie Kilpatrick. He attended school in Fitzgerald and served his country honorably in the Georgia Army National Guard. He retired from civil service as a welder for Robins Air Force Base. Following his retirement, Mr. Kilpatrick owned and operated Kenneth’s Welding Shop in Kathleen. He enjoyed restoring antique cars and dearly loved his family and friends.
His memory will be cherished by his special friend: BamBam, his Boston terrier; two aunts: Katherine Wilkes of Ocilla and Theresa Bloom of Miami, Florida; several cousins; and caretakers: Edward & Donna Waller and Katrina Waller, all of Fitzgerald.
