Gerald N. Gagne, 72, of Goffstown died July 10, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and close friends.
He was born on August 8, 1940, the son of Louis and Alice (Blouin) Gagne. He was educated in the local Catholic school system.
Up until recently, he was employed by Cohen Machinery of Bedford, NH for 19 years. Prior to that, he had been employed as a field specialist with the Eastman Kodak Company for many years.
Gerald was the best friend anyone could have, always brightening up whatever room he entered. He enjoyed sports cars, especially Corvettes, and was an avid pilot. He was a founding member of the Pinardville chapter of the Optimist Club but above all else, will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished time spent with his family.
Family members include his wife of 48 years, Frances A. (Schofield) Gagne of Goffstown; one son, David Gagne and wife Heidi of Deerfield; daughter, Patricia Ann Thomas of Leicester, MA; grandchildren, Brittany Marie, Benjamin, Wyatt, and Ayla; one brother, Ron Gagne and wife Carol of Missouri; a sister, Louise Clark of Missouri; his best friend, Richard Gabriel of Manchester; nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, July 13, 2013 in St. Catherine of Siena Church.
