Wilhelmina F. Angley
A woman of deep spirit, wisdom, generosity, and bravery, Wilhelmina F. (Kirkwood) Angley, “Willy”, 74, died Tuesday July 9th 2013 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her children Kelly Angley-Dolloff, John H. Angley IV and wife Christine, and Adam C. Angley and wife Carrie.
An amazing Mother and Grandmother, Willy lived for her family of three children and seven grandchildren. Other loves included the sun, the beach, delicious food, dear friends, dancing, and the New England Patriots.
Willy was the first valedictorian and class president of Sacred Heart High School in Kingston, MA and attended Ladycliff College, Mass General School of Nursing, and Stonehill College. Guided by her entrepreneurial spirit, Willy was not afraid to bet the house, and she did. A survivor and shrewd businesswoman, Willy thrived in many different pursuits— from running a dental practice, restaurant ownership, retail and wholesale woman’s shoes, to bartending and floral design.
A free spirited, positive life force, and fantastic listener, who treated all with respect, Willy believed that most could do anything, and she made you believe it too. Equally impressive was Willy’s gift for the moment that seemed to be continually filled with frequent and deep laughter.
