Carl E. Avery Jr., formerly of Pembroke, MA died on Saturday June 29th in Winterhaven, FL. He was 76 years old. He is survived by his wife, Claire E. Avery; his sons, Mark Avery of Pembroke, Matthew Avery and his wife Amy of Hanson. His grandchildren Nicholas Avery, Matthew Avery and Malia Avery. Carl is also survived by 5 brothers, Robert F. Avery, Phillip L. Avery, Charles F. Avery, Donald L. Avery Michael F. Avery and his sister Sandy Muckler. Carl was born in Michigan and lived in Pembroke,MA most of his life. Carl and his wife Claire retired to Winterhaven, FL six years ago. Carl was a Marine Veteran and he was also active in the Masons and was a member of the Rural Lodge of Quincy.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 13th at 10:00am at the Shepherd Funeral Home 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rte. 14 Pembroke Center) followed by a reception across the street at 158 Center St. Pembroke, MA.
