Wegman, Devora 94 of Revere and formerly of Cambridge passed away on July 9, 2013. Devora was born in Cambridge and attended the Cambridge School System. Mrs. Wegman was a resident of Cambridge for 50 years and a resident of Revere for 38 years. She was a life member of Temple B’nai Israel, a member of Temple B’nai Israel Sisterhood and the Temple B’nai Israel Hadassah. Devora was also a member of the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Hebrew Ladies Aide Society.
Devora was the beloved wife of the late Morris Wegman. She was the devoted mother of Esther Wegman and Lewis Wegman. She was the loving daughter of the late Mendel and Celia Goldwasser. Devora was the dear sister of Nachman Goldwasser. She was the loving aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave. Cary Sq., Chelsea on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Everett. Memorial observance will be held at Devora’s late residence immediately following the interment until 8:00 PM and Friday until 8:00 PM. Donations in Devora’s memory may be made to Temple B’nai Israel, 1 Wave Ave. Revere, MA 02151.
