HUMMEL, Anna Catherine (Manning), 79, of Louisville, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013. She was born in Wolf Creek, KY, in Meade County on February 9, 1934. She had retired from AT&T after 37 years of service and she was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Hummel; her parents, Bill and Eric Manning; brothers, Robert Lynn Manning, Gary Michael Manning and James Donald Manning; sisters, Mary Ruth Troutman and Frances Daphine Vittorelli. She is survived by her son, Cameron Stacy Hummel; brother, William Dennis Manning of Brandenburg, KY; sisters, Rita LaVerne Giordano and Rosa Lee Basham of Brandenburg, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Her service will be 12pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home with entombment in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 11-6pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society in loving memory of her pets, Guido and Sparky.
