Wendy L. (Turner) Taber, 49, of Westport, passed away on July 1, 2013 at home.
Wendy Louise (Turner) Taber, daughter of Maxwell F. and Alice L. (Drew) Turner was born on December 27, 1963 in Boston, MA. She attended the Tower School in Marblehead, MA, Landmark School in Beverly, MA and New England College in New Hampshire. Wendy spent her sophomore year of college in England at Arundel. She had a love for horses and was a competitive rider for most of her growing up years. Wendy worked with horses as well as being a floral designer working for several florists, while also running her own business. She did weddings and supplied wonderful floral centerpieces to a Portland, ME TV news program.
Survivors along with her parents include her son: Nathan S. Taber of Dartmouth; her brother: Maxwell G. Turner of Westport; her sister: Barbara T. Corral and her husband Pablo of Dartmouth and her niece: Eliza Corral.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the United Congregational Church, 4 Commons, Little Compton, RI at 2:00 P.M.
Interment will be private.
