Ronald Dale Koger, 57, of Chesterfield died July 7, 2013 at Community Hospital Anderson after a wonderful life.
He was born August 12, 1955 in Torrance, Calif. son of Garmon and Barbara (Anderson) Koger.
He was a graduate of Ball State University with a masters degree in mathematics. He taught for a brief time at Ball State before beginning his career with EDS and later with Hewlett Packard. He worked over 30 years as a system engineer.
He was a lifetime member of NRA and was affiliated with East Side Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Laura K. (Noble) Koger, whom he married February 14, 1980; two sons, Steven P. and Andrew J. Koger all of Chesterfield; brother, Steven A. (Josie) Koger of Calif.; two sisters, Linda S. Koger of Anderson and Lori Ann (VerDale) Herman of Fargo, ND; his special friend and companion, Lucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Garmon and Barbara Koger and his grandparents.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 5 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Ernie Bowman. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2PM until the time of the service.
Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
