FALL RIVER… Joseph D. Guilmette “JD”, 33, of Fall River passed away on Thursday July 4, 2013.
Joey was born and raised in Fall River, son of Joseph and Cheryl (DeSouza) Guilmette and lived in Fall River for most of his life.
Joey was a Paramedic with Action Ambulance Services of Ipswich and Stat Southcoast EMS of Dartmouth. He had worked with a variety of ambulance companies including Bensalem EMS and Upper Bucks Regional EMS in Pennsylvania.
Joey was a graduate Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School and Roger Williams University. He enjoyed playing hockey for the Monarchs Hockey League and softball on the Fall River Scholarship Slowpitch League. He was also an avid Boston Bruins and New York Yankees fan.
In addition to his parents, he leaves two sons Corey Cordeiro & Jaden Guilmette and their mother Christy Hamm of Fall River, a daughter Molly Elizabeth Guilmette and her mother Jessica Marut of Doylestown, PA. He also leaves his brother James Guilmette of Fall River, a Godmother Natalie Benevides, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River on Wednesday 4 – 8 P.M. Funeral Services will be Thursday 10AM followed by interment at Oak Grove Cemetery in Fall River.
