Worcester, Maria D. Rivera of Worcester formerly a Taunton resident passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 22, 2013 She was 40 years of age. She was the loving wife of Luz Colon. She was born in Taunton Ma, Loving daughter of Antonio and Maria (Melendez) Rivera of Taunton. Maria enjoyed dancing, playing cards and having fun spending time with her fanily and friends. She is survived one sister Doris Marrero of Taunton, and aunt and uncle Olvin and Maria Melendez and two nieces and a nephew. Maria's Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 7:30pm at the Taunton Funeral Home 8 Crapo St. relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours will be held prior to funeral service 4-7:30. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a chartiy of ones choice.
