Born in Lockport New York on February 26, 1920, daughter of the late Ralph Lambert Darrison and Marjorie Belle Babcock Darrison, she moved to Brooklyn, NY after the untimely death of her father and her mother’s remarriage to Milton P. In her later years, she transitioned from ceramics to china painting and oil painting.

After joining All Saints’ Episcopal Church, she became active in many of the women’s activities in the church and eventually focused the majority of her efforts on the Altar Guild, serving as the Altar Guild director for 23 years.

Anne was also active in the community, joining the Women’s Advance Club of Baldwin in the late 60’s. She filled several positions in the Advance Club, including President. She was honored by the Advance Club as a lifetime member and continued to attend meetings and write the monthly newsletter until she moved to Connecticut late last year to be closer to her family.
