Obituary

John A. Loder, 78, of Foxboro and formerly of Walpole died June 28 at his daughter’s home in Spring Valley, California. He was the husband of the late Diana (Harmon) Loder.
Born in Everett, August 19, 1935, the son of the late Phillip and Miriam (Harrison) Loder, Mr. Loder had lived in Walpole for many years before moving to Foxboro 45 years ago.
Mr. Loder had been an electrician for the Raytheon Corporation for 32 years before retiring.
Mr. Loder served in the Army during the Korean War.
He enjoyed doing woodworking but spending time with his late wife brought him his greatest pleasure.
He is survived by his children, Aaron C. Loder of New Bedford, Corrine D. Loder of Wrentham, Diana A. Loder of Spring Valley, California and John A. Loder of Foxboro.
He is also survived by his brother Sidney Loder of Foxboro and was the brother of the late Anne Johnson and Phillip Loder.
His funeral service will be held on Monday July 8 in the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main Street in Walpole at Noon.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Walpole. Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00 a.m. - Noon.
