Lucy Irene B. (Blair) Adams, 95, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Summerfield Health Center. Born in Columbia, Ky. she was a retired teacher for JCPS, a member of the National Honor Society – Kappa Delta Pi and a member of Shively Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ollis Adams and survived by her children, Mary Ann Stainback and James Adams (Janice); Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be 12 pm on Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1pm to 8 pm Thursday. In lieu of flowers family ask expressions be made to Shively Christian Church.
