CHARLTON – Alma N. (Bazinet) Mirabito, 96, formerly of Charlton, died Saturday, August 21, at the Life Care Center of Auburn after an illness. Her husband, Bartholomew Mirabito, died in 1985.
She leaves a sister, Evelyn E. Carlson of Oxford; nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; one great great niece Zoey, and one great great nephew, Aiden, whom she loved dearly for all his visits with his mother Carla. She was predeceased by six brothers, Wilfred, Leo, Bernard, Ernest, Raymond and Edmund, and by four sisters, Louise, Rose, Cecelia and Dorothea.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of Wilfred and Marie (Metevier) Bazinet. She lived in Dudley and Charlton for most of her life. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School in Webster.
Mrs. Mirabito owned and operated Alma’s Beauty Shop on Main Street in Webster from 1934 to 1971, when she retired.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 28, in the United Church of Christ, Federated, 4 Church Street, Webster. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and flowers are to be omitted. The family suggests donations in her memory be made to the United Church of Christ, Federated, 4 Church Street, Webster, MA 01570.
