Danny Hoth, 55, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with the Rev. Ronald Reese and the Rev. Allen Arowood officiating. Interment will follow in the Lax Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. Hoth was born July 26, 1957, in Ben Hill County to the late Eugene Hoth and the late Donnette Barnes Hoth Mobley. He was a former employee of H. R. Kaminsky & Sons, a former commercial electrician for A & E Electric of Albany, and a former Black Industries subcontractor for Windstream. He had a passion for restoring antique cars, camping and riding motorcycles. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife: Vickie Hoth of Irwin County; daughter: Kandice and Eric Owens of Irwin County; granddaughter: Makenzie “Mak” Owens; a sister: Donna Jean Clark of Irwin County; stepsister: Pam Oneal of Smith Valley, Nevada and his stepmother: Doris Hoth of Nebraska City, Nebraska.
