Obituary

DUDLEY – Stanley J. Antos, 76, of 78 Charlton Road, died Monday, August 23, at homeafter being stricken ill.

He leaves a son, John J. Antos of Webster; a daughter, Susan A. Antos of Tucson, AZ; a brother, Edward Antos of Dudley; 3 sisters, Mildred Borowski of Holden, Rose Scheffler of Webster, and his twin sister Stella Roukat of Dudley; 5 grandchildren; his former wife, Sally A. (Twardzik) Antos of Dudley; and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Joseph, John, and Jacob Antos and by 2 sisters, Mary Moroz and Sophie Mrzyglod.

He was born in Webster, son of John and Josephine (Pendrak) Antos, and attended Dudley schools. Mr. Antos was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict.

He worked for the water department of the Town of Dudley as a pipe fixer for 28 years before retiring.

The funeral will be held Friday, August 27, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home,340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church,. 54 West Main St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Calling hours are from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
