Methuen, Ma – Justine B. (Kenyon) Riopelle, 62, a life-long resident of Haverhill, died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Holy Family Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved widow of David A. Riopelle.
Justine was born in Lawrence on March 17, 1951, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Wilcox) Kenyon. She worked as a bus monitor for the city of Haverhill for over 20 years until her retirement in March 2013 on her 62nd birthday. She was a Communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Lawrence. In her free time, she loved watching the Boston Red Sox as well as taking trips to Florida and New Mexico. She also loved spending time at Hampton Beach, where she would attend the Continentals concert at the Hampton Shell every Wednesday evening.
Justine will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Tara Riopelle of Boston and Mary Lou Riopelle of Haverhill; 2 sons, Eric Riopelle and his fiancé, Tammy Radzik of Hudson, NH and Paul Riopelle of Lawrence; 2 sisters, Jill Ciarla and her partner, John Delehanty of Lawrence and Jean Wright and her husband, Francis of Lawrence; brother, Raymond A. Kenyon and his wife, Sheila of Haverhill; 13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews as well as other family members; and her special friend, Pat Morel and other friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Julie A. Kenyon.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, July 5th at 11 o’clock at St. Patrick’s Church in Lawrence. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Justine’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the KENNETH H. POLLARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Wednesday, July 3rd from 4-8 PM.
