Raymond D. Johnson
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, June 30, 2013, Mr. Raymond Dorian Johnson, 72, loving husband of the late Brenda Faith Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Evans. He retired from Local 150. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend who was always willing to help anyone in need. With strong hands and a kind heart, he could repair anything.
Family members include daughters: Melanie Pittman and husband Chuck, Cynthia Knapp and husband Roger, Rebecca Counsell and husband Wesley; sons: Mark Price, Alvin Ledbetter and wife Melissa, Raymond D. Johnson, Jr. and wife Kelly; grandchildren: Ryan Price, Brandi Arnold, Mandi Henderson, John Wayne Counsell, Lewis Beale, Nathan Ledbetter, Cameron Price, Hannah Ledbetter, Mattox Johnson, Audrey Johnson; great grandson: Jacob Henderson; sisters: Frances Beckworth, Ann Gay, Maxine Darnell; and brothers: Pat Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, and Alvin Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Russell Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
