Edith (Sullivan) Fox, 90, of New Bedford died June 28, 2013 at Brandon Woods after a brief illness.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late George H. Sullivan, Jr. and Ethel (Sharpe) Sullivan, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
She was a giving and thoughtful woman and an avid New England Patriots fan.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Brandon Woods and Hospice of Southeastern Massachusetts.
Survivors include her son, Walter S. Jones, Jr. and his wife Arlene Estrella-Jones of New Bedford; her former daughter-in-law, Rebecca Jones of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Walter S. Jones, III and Ryan T. Jones; 2 step-grandchildren, Brian Granfield and Matthew Granfield; and 3 great-granddaughters.
Her visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 6th from 11 AM - 1 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
