In Taunton, June 28, 2013 Thomas K. Faulkner age 86, passed away in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Matthew and Helen (Burns) Faulkner. Thomas served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from the military and the Military Sea Transport Service and has resided in the Taunton area until his passing. Thomas enjoyed shopping, dining out, spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his sister in laws Roma Burns of N.Y. Albertina Pistana of Taunton , Barbara Faulkner of Taunton and the late John, Paul, and Richard Faulkner. Thomas also leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral home visiting hours will be on Wednesday, July 3rd from 10-11 am. Followed by a graveside service in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton at 11:30 am. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 4th at 10 am. in Holy Family Church in East Taunton.
