Margaret S. Gaddie, 94, went home to her Lord Saturday June 29, 2013 at Wesley Manor Retirement Community.
She devoted her life to serving Christ, teaching Sunday School and playing piano & organ.
Margaret was a retired Secretary from Naval Ordnance and a faithful member of Valley View Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Joseph A. Gaddie.
Survivors include her Daughters: Judy DeWitt (Paul) and Jo-Ann Harris (Ned); 4 Grandchildren: Sherri Peercy, Kim Staley, Michele McGaha and Shannon Clancy; 6 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Dave Walker Ministries and Wesley Manor, in honor of the excellent care she received.
