John J. Norton, Jr., 52, of Exeter, NH died Thursday, June 27th.
John grew up in Salem, NH and graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1979. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Merrimack College in North Andover and his MBA from Northeastern University in Boston. John was a member of Christ Church in Exeter. He was a financial advisor for Bank of America in Andover, MA.
John loved riding his motorcycle and going for walks on the beach. He was an avid reader, enjoyed history and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his brother, James Norton.
He is survived by his parents, Susan (Martucelli) and John Norton, Sr. of Brentwood, NH; his daughters, Melissa and Olivia Norton of Salem, NH; his brothers Joseph Norton and wife Lori of Salem, NH and Michael Norton and wife Laurie of Kingston, NH; his sister, Marianne and husband Brad Bemister of Windham, NH; his girlfriend, Allison Richard of Allenstown, NH; his former wife, Susan Norton of Salem, NH and several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be Monday, July 1st from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10:30AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
