West Boylston
Peter M. Edukajtis, 81, formerly of Prospect St. died Friday (Oct.26) in the Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Worcester after an illness.
His wife of 48 years, Helen L. (Sigel) Edukajtis died in 1993. He leaves several nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces. A sister Esther M. Haapakoski of West Boylston died in 1997.
He was born in Worcester, son of Michael and Mary Erdukaitis. He graduated from Boys Trade in Worcester. He was an Army veteran of WWII.
He worked for over thirty years in the maintenance department at the Wyman Gordon Company retiring in 1982. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, the Greendale Mens Club, and the Elder Seniors of West Boylston.
The Funeral will be held Monday (Oct29) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Cousnel Church 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. A Calling Hour will be held Monday (Oct29) from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
