Funeral services for Steven W. Alberson, 57, of Rebecca will be held Friday, June 28, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Live Oak Cemetery in Ashburn. Mr. Alberson died Tuesday at Tift Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mr. Alberson was born in Florida and was the son of Reginald O. Alberson of Ashburn and the late Rhoda Peace Alberson. He was of the Baptist faith and a self employed carpenter. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Alberson.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Giddens, Fayetteville, GA; his father, Reggie Alberson, Ashburn, GA; his brothers, Alan Alberson, Ashburn, GA and David Alberson, Rebecca, GA.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30-1:30 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
