Ambrosia Rayne Hopper, 13 months old, daughter of Anya (Taylor) and Wes Hopper, received her angel wings on Saturday, June 22, 2013, after an eight month battle with a rare form of cancer. Sometimes there are those that are just too wonderful, too special and too beautiful for this world and those of us that are lucky enough to be around them are simply blessed beyond words to get to spend our time with them. Those that went before her are now blessed by her presence in heaven. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her 6 year old brother, Braeden, her grandparents Alan and Carrie Taylor of Frankfort, Tracy Barger of Louisville and Jeff Hopper of Waynesville, NC, great-grandparents Jerry and Joanna Otis of Lexington and Jessie Taylor of Frankfort, uncle Lance Taylor, and first cousins Dakota (Cody), Christian, Jordan, and Kaylee. Great aunts and uncles, and many other cousins and relatives are also in mourning, along with hundreds of prayer warriors who came to know Ambrosia throughout her brave fight. Services will also be at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown on Friday, June 28, at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville KY 40218.
