Obituary

David J. Gage, 55, of Middleton, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 following a lengthy illness surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Danvers on August 26, 1957, he was the son of Anita Gage of Middleton and the late Lester Gage. He was raised and educated in Middleton and was a graduate of the Whittier Technical High School, Class of 1975.
He owned and operated his own welding business, Dave Gage Welding, for more than thirty-five years.
A lifelong Middleton resident, he was an avid remote control race car operator and built his own racing track.
He was a wonderful and dedicated father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Danica Payne Gage of Middleton, two sisters, Debbie Coffin and Doreen Gage, both of NH, two brothers, Daniel Gage of NH and Douglas Gage of Lawrence, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
His Graveside Service will be Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11AM in the Oakdale Cemetery, Maple St., Middleton. Relatives and friends are invited. A cookout celebrating his life will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Gage Family Memorial Fund, c/o Peoples United Bank, 2 Central St., Middleton, MA 01949.
