John E. Lank age 74 of Canton passed away suddenly June 24th at home. Born in Boston, he was raised in Dorchester and previously lived in Milton before moving to Canton in 1978. He was a member of the Milton Police Department for 35 years and retired in 2003. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Beloved husband of Carole (Johnson). Father of John A. of FL and Michael J. and his wife Trish of Canton. Grandfather of Dylan and Skylar Lank of Canton. Brother of Joan Parker of LA. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited to gather at the funeral home Friday morning at 9 am for procession to Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree for a graveside service at 10 am.
