Obituary

Philip P. Lambrukos Sr., 84 of Medford, died Tuesday after a long illness in Medford, MA.

Born in Marathousa, Greece, he has lived in Medford since 1955 and was the son of the late Phyllis (Anastopoulos) and Peter Lambrukos. Philip was the Proprietor of the former Brown & Blue Restaurant in Medford from 1968 to 1973 and also the Copper Kettle in Framingham from 1973 to 1985. He was a member of The Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, First Masonic District.

Beloved husband of Louise (Houde) Lambrukos. Devoted father of Philip P. Lambrukos Jr., Katherine Hanley and her husband Jason all of Medford, Phyllis Statharas and her husband Manolis of Greece. Loving grandfather of Dimitrios and Eleftherios of Greece. Brother of Georgia Gionis, Katherine Mantzaris, Harry Lambrukos all of Greece, Nicholas Lambrukos of South Carolina and the late Aglaia Kargiatlis and Charles Lambrukos. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives here and in Greece.

Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 10 AM followed by a funeral service in the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, Greek Orthodox Church, 29 Central St., Somerville, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
