Richard R. Allard 54, of Great Rd. died Saturday at Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Claire (Saumur) Allard. Born in Woonsocket he was the son of Pauline (Rainville) Allard of Woonsocket, and the late Leo Allard. Richard was a machine operator for R & R Machine for over eighteen years. He was an avid fisherman.
Besides his wife and mother he leaves two sons, Brad Allard and his wife Mandy, and Eric Allard and his wife Brenda all of North Smithfield, a sister Lisa Allard Noreau and her husband Chuck of Woonsocket, a sister-in-law Martha Allard of FL, eight grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Michael, and Raymond Allard.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday 6-8 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, RI. Burial is private.
