Anna P. (Foley) Anthony, 96, of New Bedford died June 24, 2013 at Hallmark Nursing Home.
She was the wife of the late Gerald R. Anthony.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Richard and Lillian (Beamish) Foley, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
Mrs. Anthony was formerly employed as a nurses aide for Bristol Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Dartmouth Senior Center.
Survivors include 3 children, Gerald R. Anthony of Dartmouth, Kevin T. Anthony of New Bedford and Marion Asquino of Bourne; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Marion Duprey, Cecelia Richards, Gertrude L'Heureux, Lillian Foley, Thomas Foley and Edward Foley.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Friday, June 28th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, June 27th from 4-8 PM.
