Paul W. Nimblett Sr., 47, of East Hampstead, NH, died Saturday, August 21, 2004 in the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. Paul was born in Winthrop, MA on August 29, 1956, a son of the late Arthur F. and Virginia M. (Westlin) Nimblett Sr. Prior to his recent move to East Hampstead he had been a resident of Derry for 6 years and formerly of Londonderry. He was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Derry. He was also a former member of the Elks Lodge in Malden, MA. He was employed as a mail carrier for the Town of Derry for 19 years. He loved dancing, playing golf, take long drives, and traveling. Paul enjoyed taking vacations with his family and attended all of his son's sports games. His family and friends were very important to him.
He is survived by his wife, Patti J. (Grilli) Nimblett of East Hampstead, two sons, Paul W. Nimblett Jr. and Tom Nimblett, both of East Hampstead, one brother, Arthur F. Nimblett Jr. of Malden, MA, two sisters, Ann Edwards-Brown of North Carolina, Virginia S. Nimblett of Derry, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mary Grilli Smith, many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and a lifelong family friend Barbara Cesaro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday August 25th at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Avenue, Derry. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry.
