Louise H. Franke, 104, of Bloomington, Indiana, went home to her Heavenly Father on June 21, 2013. Jesus promised that He would prepare a place in Heaven for all who would believe in Him and so she has gone to receive that promise.
She devoted her life to her family, teaching young children in Sunday School up into her 90’s, being a faithful prayer warrior, planting and harvesting from her annual garden, and delighting in the many flowers in her yard.
She is survived by her son, James E. Franke, Jr. (Bonnie), daughters; Louise Adamson (Donald), Jeanne Schermer (Gary) and Constance Franke, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Franke, Sr. of 54 years.
A Time of Celebration with her family will be held at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old St. Rd. 37, in Bloomington on Monday, June 24th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and a
Celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, June 26 at 11 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West).
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 25th at 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
