TEWKSBURY - Catherine C. (Couture) Alleva, age 54, died Saturday, Aug. 21, at SaintsMemorial Medical Center in Lowell after a brief illness.
She was born in Melrose, Jan. 9, 1950, a daughter of the late Robert and Pauline (Grenier)Couture. She was raised in Wakefield and graduated Wakefield High School. She had lived inTewksbury since 1981.
She was employed as a records researcher in Middlesex, Essex and Suffolk counties.
She was a communicant of St. William’s Church.
She is survived by a son, Michael J. Alleva of Tewksbury; a daughter, Katey A. Alleva ofTewksbury; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and his wife Carol (Capiello) Couture ofAndover, William and his wife Betsy (Klein) Couture of Windham, NH; an aunt, Pauline Grenierof S.C.; her former husband James Alleva; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 25, in St. William’s Church. Following cremation, interment will be in Wakefield.
