Obituary

Mrs. Celestina P. (Martin) Lincoln, of Taunton, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 20 in Morton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Thomas D. “Paul” Lincoln. She was born 72 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mimosa) Martin. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a secretary for Kinsman Electric Company of Taunton for 5 years. She was previously employed at the Brockton Tool Company in Easton for 15 years, and was formerly employed by New Jersey Rubber in Taunton for 15 years. Celestina was a member of the Barnstompers Dance Club of Taunton. She enjoyed dancing, arts and crafts, sewing, reading and listening to music. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves: 2 brothers: Edward Martin of Taunton and John Martin of Fall River; 3 sisters: Aldena Lopes of Houston, Texas, Elda Martin of E. Providence, R.I., and Judith Reese of Taunton, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Tuesday, June 25 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
