Eleanor M. (Vogel) Ryder, 84, of Salem, NH died Wednesday, June 19th at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Eleanor grew up in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School and McIntosh Business School in Lawrence, MA. She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Methuen, MA and a Girl Scout leader for Troop 35 of the United Presbyterian Church in Lawrence for 25 years. Eleanor was an avid Hummel collector and a member of the Nation M.I. Hummel Club and President of the Graniteer Hummel Club in Salem, NH. She enjoyed being with friends and knitting.
Eleanor was predeceased by her loving husband Charles W. Ryder.
She is survived by her cousin, Ruth A. Lange of Lawrence, MA and a great number of loving friends.
Calling hours will be Wednesday June 26th from 4-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral service will be Thursday at 10AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
