David P. Rivers, age 53, of Brockton died Tuesday June 18, 2013 at his home. He was the devoted husband of Paula A. (Lyons) and loving father of Pamela Rivers of Brockton. David was born and raised in Brockton the son of the late Kenneth and Rose (Marochino) Rivers and remained a lifelong resident of the city.
He was a 1977 graduate of Brockton High School and attended Stonehill College. Most of his career was spent managing local storage facilities. He was employed at Storage Pros in Brockton at the time of his death and previously worked at Public Storage. David loved both his job and family and will be remembered as a loving man who would do anything for his wife and daughter.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Sunday 2-4 pm with a funeral service at 4 pm. Please consider donations in David’s name to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
