Obituary

Dotty Lou (Bartley) Hart, 75, of West Point, Kentucky passed away June 17,2013 at Jewish Hospital. She worked as a model and teaching classes for Alix Adams Modeling Agency and former owner of Vogue Models of Louisville, and also taught classes at Sullivan Business College, as well as writing a beauty advice column called “ Beautiful tips from the Hart” for many newspaper in several states, she also owned two Exotic Bird Business. She was a graduate of Meade County High School. She was a member of the West Point Methodist Church, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 148 in West Point and a member of the Moose Club, in LaBelle, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Bartley and Lily Bartley Thomas.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Edwin Hart Jr., son Allan Hart (Heather)and three granddaughters Kaitlyn, Hayley and Addyson, three sisters Sandra Kay Boyd (Jay), Freda Starwater and Jozette Mattingly (Pat), brother Joe B. Bartley (Norma). Memorial service will be Sunday 3 P.M. with visitation 1P.M. until 3P.M. June 30,2013 at West Point Methodist Church at 109 N. 6th West Point ,Ky. Arrangements by Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
