CHELMSFORD - William L. Feloney, age 82, a resident of Chelmsford for over two decades, died Tuesday evening, June 18, at Wingate of Belvidere in Lowell, where he had been in residence for the past three years. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy “Dolly” (McKinnon) Feloney, who died on December 28, 2009.
Bill was born in the Beachmont section of Revere, March 15, 1931, a son of the late William L. and Una K. (Brown) Feloney, was raised in Revere, and graduated from Revere High School. Upon graduation he enlisted into the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He resided in Florida before moving to Chelmsford 23 years ago.
He retired from the Andover Service Center of the Internal Revenue Service as an administrator.
He is survived by four step-children, Christine Kinnon of Tewksbury, James Boenis of Lowell, Donald Bianchini and his wife Liz of Wilmington, NC, twelve grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and three nephews, Kenneth, Michael, and Ronald Jones.
He was predeceased by his step-children, Maureen Boenis, and Albert “Al” Kinnon; and a sister, Lillian Jones.
His Memorial Funeral Mass, was held Monday, June 24, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Interment with Army Honors followed in St. Mary Cemetery, No. Tewksbury. Memorial gifts to San Damiano House of Prayer, 333 Pawtucket Street, Lowell, MA 01854, will be appreciated.
