Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 9am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 4-8pm.

Julia A. (Kavalauskas) Jackson died Thursday evening at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health.
Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Luke and Ana (Bruzas) Kavalauskas, she had been a lifelong resident of Brockton. She attended Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1937 and a graduate of Mansfield Beauty Academy. She retired as the Assistant Office Administrator of Knapp Shoe after many years. Previously she worked at Jones and Vining Shoe. She was a member of the Earl Street Association and for many years lived on Linwood Street with her husband. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
She is survived by two daughters Marie A. Hickey and her husband Thomas B. of East Dennis and Julie A. Ekberg and her husband William E. of Bridgewater, three grandchildren John S. Hickey, Faith A. Hickey and Matthew L. Ekberg, two great grandchildren Katherine A. and Daniel J. Hickey and one sister Valerie Kearney of Brockton.Several and several nieces and nephews
