In Taunton, June 16, 2013 Richard R. Huot, age 65 passed away in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. Richard is survived by his loving wife Maryann (Nevitt) Huot of Taunton. He was born in Biddeford, ME, the son of the late Roland & Rita (Michaud) Huot. Richard served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He attended schools in ME and later graduated from Bristol Community College. He was a surveyor for the Commonwealth of MA. Richard enjoyed golfing and was an avid sports fan and loved his time with family. Richard leaves his two children Daniel R. Huot and his wife Beth of Bridgewater and Stacey M. Cote & her husband Leo of Taunton. His grandchildren Christopher and Dominic Cote of Taunton. His siblings Ronald Huot and Robert Huot both of Biddeford, ME. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Friday, June 21st at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours prior to the service from 10-11:30 am. Burial will be in Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham.
