Jackie Lee Jones, 39, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville.
A private celebration will be held in her honor.
Mrs. Jones was born May 23, 1974, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Richard Michael Kizer and Diana Nicodemus Kizer Price-Jaworski. She moved to the community in 2002 from South Bend, Indiana. She was a substitute mail carrier for the Sylvester Post Office and, for the past two years, she was employed by the First Baptist Church Preschool. She enjoyed cooking, especially trying new recipes and growing flowers in her garden.
She is survived by her husband: Randy Jones; son: Jacob Randall Jones and daughter: Ashlee Diana Jones, all of Irwin County; father: Dick Kizer; mother: Diana & Ron Jaworski; sister: Jennifer & Brad Little, all of South Bend, Indiana; sisters-in-law: Darchelle & Scott Downing of Fitzgerald, Danielle & Fred Rill of Lyman, South Carolina and Amber Melson of Inman, South Carolina; mother-in-law: Nancy Jones of Inman, South Carolina; father-in-law: Robert & Karen Jones of Fitzgerald; three nieces and five nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Randy Jones c/o Jackie Jones Memorial Fund at Community Bank or mailed to 516 Buchanan Rd., Rebecca, GA 31783. Funds will be used for funeral/burial arrangements, medical expenses, and a trust fund for the children.
