Gerald Santos, age 74 of Providence passed away June 17, 2013. Born in Fall River, he was the loving companion of the late Claire Souza, and the son of the late Manuel and Diamentina (Cabral) Santos. Prior to retirement he worked for Harodite Finishing Corp as a machine shop operator.
Gerald was the father of Brian Santos (wife Stacey) of Warren RI, Lisa Stevens (husband John) & Jonathan Santos both of Lincoln RI, and Robert Santos of East Providence RI, brother of Beverly Whalen of Fall River MA, Rosemary Catrina-Tabicas & Joanne Gomes both of Westport MA. He was the grandfather of Steven and Ryan Garant, Nicholas Santos and Holly Hersom, and great grandfather of Braylin and Harper Christine Elizabeth Hersom and Mason Alexander Garant. Gerald was also the brother of the late Edward Santos.
