Rodney Andress
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, June 15, 2013, Mr. James Rodney Andress, 65, loving husband of 38 years to the late Dr. Charlene Andress.
Mr. Andress was a native of Clarkesville, TN but has resided in the Augusta area for more than 40 years. He was a Navy veteran. Mr. Andress was the owner and operator of Andress Auto Repair and Electric. An avid Georgia Bulldog fan, Mr. Andress was a season ticket holder for over 30 years. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Family members include sons: James Lutes and his wife Joannie, Rev. Jason “Chris” Lutes and his wife Nancy, Jeff Lutes and his companion Christine; grandchildren: Adam Lutes, Wes Lutes, Paige Lutes, and Amberlynn Lutes.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 10:30AM in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Revs. Tom and Carolyn Snyder officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Andress Auto Repair and Electric. Memorial contributions may be made to Shepherds of Grace International PO Box 5336 Aiken, SC 29804.
