Obituary

WALTHAM - Adell V. (Szwarc) Fulton, 93, of Waltham, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 in the Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton after a period of declining health. Her husband, Alpheus Fulton, died in 1988.
She leaves a stepson, John Fulton of Wilbraham; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Edward Szwarc and Dr. Vincent Szwarc.

She was born and raised in Cambridge, the daughter of Stanley L. and Valeria “Viola”(Walisiewicz) Szwarc. She lived in Somerville before moving to Waltham over 60 years ago. She graduated from Somerville High School.
Mrs. Fulton first worked as a stenographer in the office of Hurlihy Company in Somerville. She then managed her father’s bakery, Edward’s Bakery in Somerville. She and her husband owned and operated A. O. Fulton Antiques in Waltham for many years.
She enjoyed gardening and was proud of her Polish heritage.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, June 24, in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Calling hours are private. Donations in her name may be made to St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster, MA 1570. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St.,Webster.
