Ernest R. Rone, 82, passed away at his home June 16,2013.
He was a carpenter and Army veteran of Korea, he also loved to garden and go fishing. He was a member of Beth Haven Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents Corby and Mabel Rone.
He is survived by his loving wife of 2 years Bertha E. Rone, daughters Janet Green and Jeannie Texter , son John Mahoney, grandchildren are Erin Phillips, Marlena Florney and John Ernest Mahoney , three great-grandchildren Madison and Lillian Phillips and Sydney Florney, brothers Thurmon and Kelly Rone, two sisters Pauline Blanton and Lola Foley.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West).
Visitation will be Tuesday 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
