JAMES “DICKIE” TUTTLE, 78, passed away on June 15, 2013.
He was a retired owner of Safeway Carpet and a member of 18th Street Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years and the mother of his children, Annie Joyce Tuttle; his son, Darrell Tuttle; and his parents Marvin and Chloe Tuttle.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Harrison; his sons, Kirk “Marty” Tuttle (Becky) and James “Jamie” Tuttle (Susan); grandchildren, Zachary Tuttle (Ashley), Sarah Tuttle and Kayla Tuttle; one great granddaughter, Hadley, who is on the way; his brothers, Wayne Tuttle and Charles Ray Tuttle (Thelma); and sisters, Beatrice Grizzle, Virginia Parkey, Frances Ramsey (Chuck), Wilma Price (Wilton), and Pat Hall (Ron).
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. CST at Alexander Funeral Home, 584 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, TN. with burial in Crestview Cemetery, Gallatin, TN.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. and after 10 am. CST Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Gallatin, TN.
